Recording Project: Samuel Siskind Choral works
Fourth Wall Ensemble heads to the studio to record Samuel Siskind’s “Soaring Dreams.”
Former Los Angeles Philharmonic Fellowship Composer, Samuel Siskind’s works have been performed across the world at venues such as Carnegie Hall’s Stern Auditorium, Kyoto Concert Hall, Santori Hall, Royce Hall, Yellowstone International Performing Arts Festival, and many others. Portions of his catalogue have been recorded at Capital Records and televised in a world-wide event at the DMZ where his music was performed by youth from North and South Korea. His choral work, Release was an ASCAP Foundation Morton Gould Young Composer Awards Finalist and will be premiered by the GRAMMY Award-winning National Children’s Chorus May 18, 2024 at Carnegie Hall. Next year, he will graduate high school.
Fourth Wall Ensemble is committed to nurturing incredible young talent and is proud to be working with Samuel. Fourth Wall Ensemble will release ‘Soaring Dreams” this summer.

The Cabinet of Doctor Caligari at Carnegie Hall
Fourth Wall Ensemble makes its Carnegie Hall debut in the live-to-picture U.S. premiere of Five-time Emmy winning composer Jeff Beal’s score for the Weimar Cinema masterpiece, The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari. Jeff Beal makes his debut in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage leading the Silver Nitrate Big Band and Fourth Wall Ensemble in what is considered one of the most influential silent films in history. Caligari’s expressionist design, complex themes, and genre elements combined with Beal’s searing score showcases the singular voice of the musical storyteller. This film is from the holdings of the Friedrich-Wilhelm-Murnau-Stiftung in Wiesbaden.

Death Of Classical: The Angel’s Share- Caroline Shaw’s Partita
Caroline Shaw's Pulitzer Prize-winning Partita for 8 Voices is a work of profound emotional beauty, a timeless expression that feels at home in any musical era. For these performances, the groundbreaking vocal talents of Fourth Wall Ensemble will weave together a program that begins with improvised medieval chant, flowing seamlessly through the Renaissance and Baroque periods, before arriving at Shaw's staggering sonic suite.
